online classes
NATA is coming back online in September 2024!
Pamela Weber, co-founder of the center, is pleased to offer two types of classes accessible to everyone from the comfort of your own homw.
We are starting small but if the demand is there, we will see about adding postural sequences as well.
Discounted classes!
One of the advantages of online classes: they will be offered at half price!
This means, when you sign up for a 30-minute class, 15 minutes will be credited back to your membership card. For a 60-minute class, 30 minutes will be refunded to your card.
Replay Option
In addition to taking the class live and having the chance to interact with the teacher, you will receive a link which allows you to watch the class as many times as you'd like during the 6 days following the live session. So even if you can't come to the live class, sign up anyway to receive the link in your inbox.
morning breathwork
A dynamic pranayama sequence to get your day started. This class will help put an end to low energy afternoons and help you get through your daily to do list and stay calm as the day's events unfold.
Indian yogis understood that the fastest road to a meditative state is through the breath. It has a double impact on us: calming us down but also charging us up. Breathe well in the morning is a great way to set yourself up for the day.
EVERY TUESDAY AND FRIDAY, 7:15-7:45 a.m.
history and philosophy of yoga
Dive into the rich array of ideas and historical evolutions that underly the physical practices of yoga.
India is a complex country and yoga has gone through multiple twists and variations. One of the aspects that makes yoga unique is the rich underpinning of ideas that frame the physical practice: it's not just exercise, but an investigation of deeper realities using the body, and for some even a path for liberation from suffering.
Each class is conceived as a stand-alone lesson: you don't have to attend every single time to get something out of the class. But as with the postural practice, the more you come, the more you'll get out of it and the deeper your relationship to your practice will become.
