bandhas: activate your subtle energy
Thanks to the bandhas, often translated as "energetic locks," you can learn to harness your vital life force in different places in the body to give your postural practice more fluidity and power. We will investigate the three principal bandhas: mula bandha (root lock), uddiyana bandha (belly lock) and jalandhara bandha (throat lock), as well as the more subtle pada bandha (foot lock) and hasta bandha (hand lock).
